Adding Rules

By default, all Plans are equipped with a Transaction Distribution Rule set to distribute currency volume equally between available Connections.
If you'd like to configure a Rule for Transaction Distribution, you may edit the Default Rule by selecting the 'Edit' option, and adjusting the percentages as desired.

Distribution Percentages

Please note that the sum total of the percentages in your customized Rule must always equal 100%.
Available Connections receiving 0% must have a '0' entered in their percentage field.

 

Additionally, you may elect for Distribution to calculate based on transaction count.

  • Simply select the dropdown on 'Volume' and select 'Count' from the menu.
  • Enter the desired volume distribution and to save your changes - click 'EDIT RULE'  

 

 
Multiple Rules can be added to a single Plan, and are followed in order of Priority - as indicated on the 'Plan Details' page.

  • To add another Rule, select '+Add Rule' at the top of the 'RULES' section of the page.
  • Select the 'RULE TYPE' you'd like to add, and configure the Rule as desired.
  • When finished, click 'SAVE RULE'

Your new Rule will be displayed in the Rule list:

Reject Salvage Rule Risks

Adding Connections to an Existing Rule

If you would like to add new Connections processors to a Rule, you must first edit the Plan to include those Connections.
After you have added the desired processors to a Plan, you may follow the above steps to include them in an existing Rule.

  • To edit a Plan, simply return to the Plan Details page of the Plan you wish to edit.
  • Select 'Edit' in the upper right.

 

This will open the 'Edit Plan' drawer, where you may add available Connections.

  • Select relevant Connections
  • Save your edits with 'Edit Plan' in the lower left.
