Quick Actions

Quick Actions provides fast access to frequently used features without leaving your current page. Whether you're searching for a merchant, looking up a transaction, or accessing documentation, Quick Actions gets you there in seconds.

Opening Quick Actions

There are two ways to open the Quick Actions panel:

Keyboard Shortcut (Recommended)

Press the keyboard shortcut from anywhere in the dashboard:

Platform	Shortcut
Mac	`⌘ K`
Windows / Linux	`Ctrl + K`

The keyboard shortcut works from any page in the dashboard, making it the fastest way to access Quick Actions.

Sidebar Button

Click the Quick Actions button at the top of the sidebar. The button displays your platform-specific keyboard shortcut for quick reference.

Using Quick Actions

Browsing Options

When Quick Actions opens, you'll see a list of available actions organized by category. Each action includes:

Icon — Visual indicator of the action type
Label — Name of the action
Description — Brief explanation of what the action does
Number Badge — Keyboard shortcut for quick selection (1-9)

Searching

Start typing to filter the available actions. The search matches against both action names and descriptions, helping you find what you need quickly.

Type to filter actions in real-time
Results update as you type
Clear the search using the X button or by deleting your text

Selecting an Action

Choose an action using any of these methods:

Method	How
Click	Click directly on an action
Number Keys	Press `1` through `9` to select the corresponding action
Arrow Keys	Use `↑` and `↓` to navigate, then press `Enter`

Keyboard Navigation

Quick Actions is designed for keyboard-first navigation:

`↑` / `↓`	Move selection up or down
`Enter`	Execute the selected action
`1` - `9`	Select action by number (when not typing in search)
`Esc`	Close Quick Actions or go back

Arrow key navigation works even while the search input is focused, so you can type to filter and immediately navigate with arrows.

Sub-Views

Some actions open a sub-view for additional input, such as searching for a specific merchant or transaction.

Navigating Sub-Views

Back Button — Click the back button or press Esc to return to the main menu
Search Fields — Type your search query; results appear automatically after a brief delay
Results — Click any result to navigate to that item

Search Tips

Enter at least 2 characters to begin searching
Use the toggle buttons to switch between search types (when available)
Results are limited to the most relevant matches for performance

Closing Quick Actions

Close the Quick Actions panel using any of these methods:

Press Esc
Click outside the panel (on the backdrop)
Click the X button in the corner
Select an action (the panel closes after execution)

External Links

Some actions open external resources (such as documentation) in a new browser tab. These actions:

Open immediately without showing a sub-view
Automatically close the Quick Actions panel
Don't affect your current dashboard page

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I customize the available actions?

The available actions are determined by your user role and permissions. You'll only see actions that are relevant to your access level.

The keyboard shortcut isn't working. What should I do?

Some browser extensions may intercept Cmd+K or Ctrl+K. Try disabling extensions temporarily to identify conflicts. The sidebar button remains available as an alternative.
