This release delivers a fully modernized merchant boarding experience, a new boarding form template editor, smarter navigation, and improved processor file handling — along with numerous quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes across the platform.

New Features

Modernized Merchant Boarding Form

The merchant boarding form has been completely redesigned with a modern look and feel. Highlights include:

  • Sidebar stepper navigation — a new vertical step indicator replaces the previous layout, making it easy to see progress and jump between sections
  • Organized business information — business details are now split into dedicated sections (Identity, Location, Details) so merchants aren't overwhelmed by a single long form
  • Tabbed owners & bank accounts — multiple owners and bank accounts now appear on separate tabs, each showing the person's name, completion status, and a Primary badge where applicable
  • Responsive mobile support — the form adapts gracefully to smaller screens, including horizontal scrolling for owner and bank account tabs
  • Accessibility improvements — the form meets WCAG AA standards with improved keyboard navigation and screen reader support

Boarding Form Template Editor

A redesigned template management experience gives you greater control over your boarding forms:

  • Field customization — configure which fields appear on your boarding forms using a new master-detail layout with per-field visibility and requirement controls
  • Improved template layout — the add/edit template page has been restructured for a cleaner, more intuitive workflow

Processor File Upload Normalization

File uploads to processors now automatically normalize filenames to meet processor-specific requirements, reducing boarding failures caused by unsupported characters or filename length.

Dashboard Back-Link Navigation

Breadcrumb navigation has been replaced with a cleaner back-link pattern across all detail pages, providing a more streamlined navigation experience.

Closed Merchant Connection Status

The merchant connection status table now includes a Closed status column, and the Merchant Count by Status API response includes closed connection counts — giving better visibility into the full lifecycle of merchant connections.

Adyen for Platforms TOS Handling

Terms of Service handling for Adyen for Platforms (AFP) boarding has been improved:

  • Legal entities are now pre-created to retrieve TOS requirements before form submission
  • TOS acceptance during boarding has been corrected for accuracy
  • Boarding form creation is now blocked when a merchant is missing a Platform Connection ID, preventing incomplete submissions

Dashboard - Live/Test Mode Icons Removed

Live and Test mode icons have been removed from drawers and UI elements for a cleaner interface. Live/Test mode is now indicated by the banner at the top of the page.

API Documentation Updates

OpenAPI/Swagger documentation for transaction and merchant endpoints has been corrected and expanded, including accurate response examples and per-status error response definitions.
